Free agent QB Russell Wilson reportedly views the New York Giants as a "more viable option" than the Pittsburgh Steelers.

But unlike the Giants, the Browns aren’t willing to play the waiting game. After signing Wilson last offseason, they traded for Kenny Pickett, a 2022 first-round pick by the Steelers, to the Eagles. Earlier this month, Pickett was traded to the Browns for quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and a 2025 fifth-round pick (No. 164 overall).

Other than Rodgers, Wilson is the best option on a list of free agents that includes veterans such as Joe Flacco and Jameis Winston.
