WARREN, Mich. – A gun was pulled on three Warren hospital workers while they took their routine break, sources told Local 4.

Police say the 31-year-old suspect is currently on federal probation, and his ex-girlfriend works at the hospital.

The shooting was the second at an Endeavor Health hospital in the Chicago area in the last year. Both the police and Endeavor say they are investigating and reviewing the Swedish Hospital shooting.

A patient armed with a gun was shot and injured by an off-duty officer at a hospital in Northwest Indiana, officials said.
