LAPD officers were in pursuit of a driver Thursday evening near downtown Los Angeles. The chase began around 8:10 p.m. as police were in pursuit of an assault with a deadly weapon suspect, according to the LAPD.

A police chase suspect is in custody – but not before getting into a dangerous pursuit across the San Gabriel Valley. During multiple points of the chase, the suspect was clocked by SkyFOX's radar of going more than 100 mph in Los Angeles County.
