Police are investigating after an 18-year-old man was shot in his buttocks in Downtown Brooklyn on Wednesday evening.

An 18-year-old male was shot in the lower back in a popular part of downtown Brooklyn on Wednesday, police said.

The shooting happened near Cadman Plaza East and Prospect Street around 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to NYPD officials.
