BRIDGEPORT, CT (WFSB) — A woman was transported to the hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a car this morning. Police responded to the scene at Capitol Avenue and Main Street around 9 a.m. for a report of an entrapment involving a pedestrian and vehicle.

Police said the 72-year-old woman was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital where she was listed in critical condition.
