SpaceX sent another batch of Starlink satellites to orbit tonight (April 28), its second liftoff of the day. A Falcon 9 rocket carrying 23 Starlink broadband satellites — including 13 with direct-to-cell capability — lifted off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida tonight at 10:34 p.

Thursday's launch was SpaceX's 49th Falcon 9 mission of 2025. SpaceX has another launch coming up later tonight. The Starlink 12-10 mission will liftoff out of Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and is scheduled for 10:31 p.m. EDT (0231 GMT, April 29).

The launch included 13 satellites with direct-to-cell communication features. SpaceX confirmed it was their 250th Starlink launch milestone on X.
