A new wildfire was reported today at 6:43 p.m. in San Bernardino County. Big Fire has been burning on private land. At this time, the containment status is unknown and the cause of the fire remains undetermined.

A man has been arrested in connection with a fire that erupted in the San Bernardino Mountains on Wednesday afternoon, while multiple wildfires continued to burn in Southern California and the region was under a red flag warning.

Volunteers are still needed for San Bernardino's Point-In-Time-Count of the area's homeless population on Saturday, Jan. 23.
