The Minnesota Timberwolves have been shorthanded for the past month with Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo out of the lineup due to injury. Last week, the duo, acquired in a trade with the New York Knicks for Karl-Anthony Towns,

The team said Thursday that Julius Randle has been cleared for 5-on-5 basketball practice activities, while Donte DiVincenzo can now perform non-contact basketball activities. DiVincenzo has been out since Jan. 15 with a toe injury, while Randle strained his groin on Jan. 30.

While the Minnesota Timberwolves currently have a winning record at 31-26, and have rebounded slightly from an uneven start to the 2024-25 season, they still aren’t at the level of last year’s squad that made it to the Western Conference Finals.

According to the journalist ESPN, Shams Charania, Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo will all return to the court throughout this stretch of games away from Target Center. Randle has been sidelined since Jan. 30 due to a groin injury, while DiVincenzo's last game was Jan. 15.
