Maine is increasing it's minimum wage starting in the new year. Effective on January 1, the minimum wage in Maine will raise for most workers to $14.65, an increase from the current rate of $14.15. The hike is a cost of living increase as stipulated by state law. Maine is one of 21 states increasing its minimum wage in 2025.
