Flash floods caused by torrential rains in a remote village in Indian-controlled Kashmir have left at least 56 people dead and scores missing, according to authorities.
Minister for Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir Affairs Engineer Amir Muqam visited the flood-affected areas of Buner district on Saturday. He reviewed the damages and relief activities in the flood-affected areas. The Minister has been informed that medical camps have been set up and relief activities are underway in the affected areas.
