Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's cameo in "Stree 2" was one of the highlights of the film and producer Dinesh Vijan on Sunday said the actor is very much a part of Maddock Films' horror comedy universe.

Akshay Kumar’s cameo in Stree 2 last year garnered significant attention. Fans are now eager to know if Akshay will reprise his role in Stree 3.

Vijan called Sky Force his first project with Kumar, leading to a funny interruption from the actor who reminded him of his cameo in Stree 2, saying, "Dedh filmein ho gayi beta."

Akshay Kumar is set to make a comeback in the Stree universe with the third instalment. The film is expected to release in August 2027, further expanding Maddock's horror-comedy slate.

Speaking about the current state of filmmaking, Dinesh Vijan emphasized the importance of learning from challenges and highlighted how writing has become a key strength for his production house, Maddock Films.

Dinesh Vijan, the producer of the Stree 2, has said that the work on Stree 3 has already started. The franchise is directed by Amar Kauhsik.
