It appears the Charlotte Hornets' mini "hot streak" has come to an end. The Bugs have dropped three straight and five of their past six. Tonight, they'll head north and across the border to take on a Toronto Raptors team that has played respectable basketball since the turn of the calendar.

Neighbors include the 2.6-acre Charlotte Transportation Center, opened in 1995, and Queen City Quarter, the former EpiCentre, a 300,000-square-foot entertainment and nightlife hub that has struggled to recover after years of financial struggles, bankruptcy, foreclosure and public safety concerns.

The Hornets are currently 7-28 on the road with a point differential of -8, while the Raptors have a 4-6 record in their last ten games at home. Charlotte won the only meetings this season 138-133 on October 30. This is the second of three meetings.

Both the Charlotte Hornets and the Toronto Raptors have had seasons that they want to get over with and forget. The Hornets find themselves with a bottom-three record, while the Raptors are in no man's land with 26 wins, sitting outside of the play-in race and out of a spot that could give them a potential high lottery pick.
