Following an internal investigation, the BBC has apologized to staff members who felt like they had no power to raise their concerns about actor and comedian Russell Brand's behavior during his time with the broadcasting corporation.

An internal investigation by the broadcaster examined eight complaints involving Brand when he was a radio presenter.

The BBC has apologised to staff who felt they could not speak up with concerns about Russell Brand's behaviour because he was seen as "too influential" and they felt he "would always get his way and therefore they stayed silent".
