Jan. 28 is the rescheduled date for last week’s postponed Rockets-Hawks game in Atlanta. Both teams will be on night two of a back-to-back.

The NBA initially made the decision to cancel the January 11 contest after speaking with local officials to “prioritize the safety of the players, fans, and staff due to severe weather and hazardous icy conditions in the Atlanta area.” The game has been rescheduled for January 28 at 7:30 p.m. at State Farm Arena.

The Houston Rockets' postponed road game against the Atlanta Hawks has been rescheduled to Jan. 28, the NBA announced Wednesday. The new game date slots into the Rockets' schedule between a Jan. 27 game in Boston and a Jan. 30 game in Memphis, and extends Houston’s road trip from three games to four games including a Jan. 25 game in Cleveland.
