Trade season is getting off to a hot start a week before the Deadline, with the D-backs dealing slugger Josh Naylor to the Mariners, sources told MLB.com on Thursday night.

Diamondbacks GM Mike Hazen is considering all options at the trade deadline, including buying, selling, or a combination of both.

Though the move is a position upgrade for Seattle, it isn’t ideal for Naylor’s fantasy value — he was hitting .324 with five homers, 36 RBIs and a .855 OPS at Chase Field.
